Hello, expecting moms in Indiana! If you’re unsure about what to do with your baby, know that you’re not alone. Adoption is a choice that many courageous women consider. Let’s explore adoption as an option together.

What Is Adoption?

Adoption means giving another family the opportunity to love and care for your baby. It’s a selfless decision that puts your child’s needs first. You can choose a loving family and stay connected through letters and visits.

Is Adoption Right for You?

If you’re thinking about adoption, it’s essential to consider your feelings, hopes, and dreams for your child. Adoption provides stability and a bright future for your baby. You can shape their future while focusing on your well-being too.

Remember, you have the power to make the best choice for you and your baby. Adoption can be a beautiful way to create a positive future for your child. Stay strong, mama!

Generally, no, you do not have to go the court, especially if you choose to work with Adoption Attorneys Kirsh & Kirsh, P.C. (“Kirsh & Kirsh”). Even if you do not live in Indiana and you select prospective adoptive parents, who live in Indiana, represented by Kirsh & Kirsh, we can file the adoption in Indiana. Indiana Law does not require birth parents to travel to court and stand in front of the judge. Indiana gives a birth parent the option of confirming their consent to adoption by telephone with the judge. Other states may have this requirement. In fact, in states that require a court appearance, sometimes the court hearing may not take place for days or even weeks after you give birth to the child. There are several reasons to ask Kirsh & Kirsh, rather than a national adoption agency or local adoption agency, to assist you in finding an adoptive home for your newborn or older child. This is just one of those benefits.

If you would like more information about adoption and available living expenses during and after your pregnancy, we, at Adoption Attorneys Kirsh & Kirsh — or the “Kirsh Boys,” as the adoption attorneys at Kirsh & Kirsh are sometimes called – would be happy to help. Steve, and his brothers, Joel and Rob, and his son, Grant, pride themselves on answering questions about adoption and explaining the process without pressure or judgment.

At Adoption Attorneys Kirsh & Kirsh, the four adoption attorneys at Kirsh & Kirsh have over 100 years of combined legal experience arranging adoptions. Kirsh & Kirsh has been in existence since 1981. We know Indiana Adoption Law inside and out. We can find a wonderful home for your baby regardless of your social and medical history. Please be honest with us and do not worry that no one will want your baby. There is always a family waiting to love your child. We have many wonderful, carefully screened, loving families, FROM INDIANA AND ALL OVER THE COUNTRY (married, single, Lesbian, and Gay) who cannot wait to welcome a baby into their hearts and homes and are happy to assist with living expenses to the fullest extent allowed by law. You make all the choices about which family adopts your baby and the extent of contacts you want after the child’s birth. Conversely, if you do not wish to choose the family, we will pick the best family on your behalf.

As attorneys, we at Kirsh & Kirsh have extremely high standards for the prospective adoptive parents we choose to represent. All our waiting families are carefully screened and thoroughly investigated. We will arrange for you to have contact with the family you choose on your terms, without families trying to reach you at all hours of the day or night.

Our contact information is below. We will answer your questions and provide the information you seek, without cost or obligation on your part. In other words, talking to us is FREE and does NOT mean you ever have to talk or text with us, again. Wayne, or any Indiana county or city in between, or ANYWHERE in Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, Michigan, or Illinois.

POSITIVE ADOPTION LANGUAGE DISCLAIMER: Please understand that these blog posts are written in a way to use language that people use when searching for help with their adoption plans. Unfortunately, while all of us understand what positive adoption language means, most expectant moms that come to us at first do not understand what that means. The most common search term on the Internet for expectant moms is “how do I give up my baby for adoption”. If we do not include those words in our blog posts, and instead put “how do I create an adoption plan for my baby” then our website will not show up in most expectant mom’s search results in Google.

Hey there!
Let’s talk about why some women decide to choose adoption for their baby. It’s a big decision, and there are a lot of reasons why a woman might make this choice. I want to share some of those reasons with you.

Wanting the Best for the Baby

Sometimes, a woman might feel like she isn’t ready to take care of a baby. She might worry that she can’t provide everything the baby needs to grow up healthy and happy. Choosing adoption is a way for her to make sure the baby will have a good life with a family that can give them lots of love and care.

Dealing with Big Changes

Having a baby can bring a lot of changes to a woman’s life. She might have to make big choices about school, work, and her future. If she feels like she’s not ready for all those changes, she might think that adoption is the best way for her to give her baby the kind of life she wants them to have.

Looking for Support

Some women might not have the support they need to take care of a baby. They might not have family or friends who can help them, and that can make things really hard. Choosing adoption can be a way for them to make sure their baby gets the love and support they deserve from a family who’s ready to care for them.

Wanting a Better Future

A woman might choose adoption because she wants her baby to have opportunities that she can’t give them right now. She might want her baby to have a stable and happy life, and she feels like adoption is a way to make that happen.

Making a Loving Choice

Choosing adoption is a big decision, and it’s made out of love and care for the baby. It’s not an easy choice, but it shows how much the woman cares about her baby’s future. It’s okay to have mixed-up feelings about it, and it’s okay to ask for help and support along the way.

Choosing adoption is a brave and loving choice. It’s a way for a woman to make sure that her baby will have a good life with a family that can give them the care and love they need. It’s okay to feel all sorts of things about this decision, and it’s okay to ask for help when things get tough.

If you or someone you know is thinking about choosing adoption, there are people who can help. Making this choice is a big deal, and it’s okay to need help along the way.
