Given our 90 years of combined legal experience arranging adoptions, the number of fully-screened, carefully investigated, and loving prospective adoptive parents we, at Adoption Attorneys Kirsh & Kirsh, PC, represent, and our efficiency and compassion in handling last-minute adoptions, we can make the arrangements on a moment’s notice. Some refer to these adoptions as “stork drops” or “surprise babies,” but no matter the name, these situations require urgent attention. For that reason, we at Kirsh & Kirsh do NOT rely on an answering service or voicemail even outside of regular office hours. A member of our full-time, regular office staff will answer a telephone call, usually within a couple of rings, without the caller having to go through an endless telephone tree. We also immediately respond to text messages and emails.

If you would like to explore adoption, we will answer your questions and provide you with the information you seek without cost or obligation on your part. In other words, talking to us is FREE and does NOT mean you ever have to talk or text with us, again. We can help you in finding an AMAZING, WONDERFUL adoptive home for your precious baby, whether you are in Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, or Michigan.

There is always a family waiting to love your child. We have lots of family options from which you can choose, all of whom are wonderful, carefully screened, loving families FROM INDIANA AND ALL OVER THE COUNTRY (married, single, Lesbian, and Gay) who cannot wait to welcome a baby into their hearts and homes and are happy to assist with living expenses to the fullest extent allowed by law. You make all the choices regarding which family adopts your baby & extent of contact you want after the child’s birth.

POSITIVE ADOPTION LANGUAGE DISCLAIMER:  Please understand that these blog posts are written in a way to use language that people use when searching for help with their adoption plans.  Unfortunately, while all of us understand what positive adoption language means, most expectant moms that come to us at first do not understand what that means. The most common search term on the Internet for expectant moms is “how do I give up my baby for adoption.”  If we do not include those words in our blog posts, and instead put “how do I create an adoption plan for my baby,” then our website will not show up in most expectant moms’ search results on Google.

Call us, at Adoption Attorneys Kirsh & Kirsh, P.C. (“Kirsh & Kirsh”). (If you prefer to text or another way to reach us, see your contact options below). We are ALWAYS AVAILABLE 24/7/365. One of our full-time, regular, office staff members will answer the phone (all of whom are VERY NICE), whether you call during regular business hours, evenings, weekends, even Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. You won’t need to leave a message or talk with an answering service or machine. We cannot (and would not) make the decision for you to give up your baby for adoption, or more correctly, make an adoption plan, but we will answer your questions and provide you the information you want, WITHOUT JUDGING OR CRITICIZING YOU. We will not pretend to know how you feel nor make you sit through counseling sessions, on end. If you chose adoption, your baby will go directly into the arms and hearts of the adoptive parents – without DCS involvement or foster care. If you choose to parent the baby, we will wish you well and part friends. We will not try to change your mind or make you feel bad about your decision. We understand that you have the absolute right to parent your child.

No, you don’t. At times, a birth mother will contact a national adoption agency or local adoption agency because the adoption agency has an eye-catching website, or a friend used that agency, or because the agency has told the birth mother not to work with an adoption attorney, probably because of competitive jealousy. Sometimes, a birth mother will find that the adoption agency is too rigid in their requirements of her, that social workers or adoption agency counselors pry too much into her business, or the agency does not have adoptive parents whom the birth mother LOVES or with whom she could imagine placing her baby for adoption. The decision to put up a baby for adoption, or more correctly, make an adoption plan for a baby is too big a decision not to completely trust, or feel comfortable with, the adoption facilitator, whether an adoption attorney or adoption agency. We, at adoption Attorneys Kirsh & Kirsh, P.C. (“Kirsh & Kirsh”) are happy to meet with any woman thinking about adoption, without cost or obligation on her part, to give her the chance to see if she feels comfortable with us and our way of accommodating birth mother’s wishes. In other words, if a woman contacts or even meets with us, she never has to talk with us again.

We, at Kirsh & Kirsh, or the “Kirsh Boys,” as the adoption attorneys at Kirsh & Kirsh, are sometimes called – Steve, and his brothers, Joel and Rob, and his son, Grant – pride themselves on answering questions about adoption and explaining the process without pressure or judgment. They cannot make adoption an easy choice, but they can make it less scary by removing some of the unknowns. Ultimately, a birth parent will have to decide if adoption is in their own best interests and the best interests of their child. We, at Kirsh & Kirsh, will not and cannot make that decision for anyone, but we can provide information and answers to questions.
