Type of Adoption

• Open adoption: You stay in touch with your child and their adoptive family through visits or calls.
• Semi-open adoption: You receive letters, photos, or updates without direct contact.

After your baby is born and you’ve had time to rest, you’ll decide whether to move forward with placement. This occurs only after birth and is always in accordance with your state’s legal requirements.
