The other evening my wife, Jacque, and I, Steve Kirsh, saw Sting live at the Palladium in Carmel, Indiana. The warm-up singer looked familiar, but we did not know from where. Like many warm-up acts, he performed okay. To say that Sting outshined the warm-up act would be like comparing 6-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady, to a high school quarterback. Sting had the sold-out crowd on their feet most of the show. During the first encore, Sting brought on stage the warm-up singer and introduced him as his son. They sang a duet, which both obviously enjoyed.
Unlike Sting’s son, who played “second fiddle” (excuse the pun) to his dad, my son, Grant Kirsh, has become a truly exceptional adoption attorney in his own right by taking everything he learned from me as an adoption attorney and blending it with his own skill, knowledge, personality, and work ethic. As evidence of the esteem in which his clients hold him look at the number of 5-Star Google Reviews which mention him by name. As a dad, I could not be happier that my son has established himself as a better, more successful lawyer than me.
Grant and my brother, Rob Kirsh, who are closer in age than Rob and me, also an excellent adoption attorney, who holds licenses to practice law in Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Michigan, in addition to Indiana, are the future of Kirsh & Kirsh. Going forward, I know that the tradition of adoption law in the Kirsh Family is in good hands.

POSITIVE ADOPTION LANGUAGE DISCLAIMER: Please understand that these blog posts are written in a way to use language that people use when searching for help with their adoption plans. Unfortunately, while all of us understand what positive adoption language means, most expectant moms that come to us at first do not understand what that means. The most common search term on the Internet for expectant moms is “how do I give up my baby for adoption”. If we do not include those words in our blog posts, and instead put “how do I create an adoption plan for my baby” then our website will not show up in most expectant moms’ search results on Google.
