Yes, definitely! Often our Birth Mother Coordinator, Rachel, participates in initial meetings with expectant mothers and birth mothers, considering putting their babies up for adoption, or more correctly, making an adoption plan for their babies. It will most likely be Rachel who will respond to your first chat, text, email, or call to Kirsh & Kirsh, whether you are in Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, or Kentucky. Although Rachel is not an attorney, because of her age – “thirty something,” many birth mothers find it easy to chat or talk with her. Additionally, Rachel is very nice, has lots of experience, and does not make judgments about people.

At Kirsh & Kirsh, we know adoption is a very private and personal choice, so we try to make it easy to look into adoption. We have a great team, including people like Rachel, we respond quickly, and we tailor each adoption to the wants and needs of our clients, the hopeful adoptive parents, and the loving, courageous birth parents who contact us, looking for assistance in finding the perfect adoptive home for their precious newborn, soon-to-be-born, or older child.

Yes. Adoption Attorneys Kirsh & Kirsh, P.C. (“Kirsh & Kirsh”), act as the attorneys for prospective adoptive parents hoping to adopt newborns. Additionally, as an ethical matter, Kirsh & Kirsh cannot represent adoptive parents and the birth mother in the same adoption. However, aside from not giving an expectant mother or birth mother “legal advice,” Kirsh & Kirsh will take care of all aspects of the adoption. While Kirsh & Kirsh has one of, if not, the largest adoption programs in the Midwest – Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky — the firm is very much a family business.  The 4 Kirsh & Kirsh attorneys are all Kirshes, 2 other members of our staff are Kirshes, and the other members of our team are like family — one of whom has been with Kirsh & Kirsh for 25 years! We make ourselves available 24/7/365 to answer questions and assist with arrangements for the adoption. Our clients will pay for a pregnant woman, considering giving up her newborn baby for adoption or, more correctly, making an adoption plan for her unborn baby, to speak with a counselor and her own attorney.
